Growing
healthy churches

City to City Australia’s Revitalise program brings together the proven training, coaching, and funding tools that have been developed over many years in Australia and overseas, puts these tools in the hands of seasoned and fruitful church leaders, who then work with multiple churches and leaders to bring new health, life and growth.

The City to City Australia Revitalise program strengthens churches across a 15-month journey with specialised consultants.

Across 3 months, we gather information from the church, analyse, clarify, consult with key stakeholders and leaders, and produce a tailor-made research-backed roadmap based on our findings. The ReFrame and ReVision workshops will guide the church to build a vision for the future.

For the following 12 months, there will be ongoing contextual training once a month, tailored to the church’s needs. The church will also be supported to go through the specific implementations recommended in your roadmap.

A specialised consultant will coach and support the leader of the church as they receive and implement the roadmap.

FULL SCOPE

This option suits a church that is somewhat stuck and wants to get unstuck, and wants a review with a clear path forward, or a church that is asking the question of "what next"? A church that buys into this model really wants to dive deep into a Revitalise project that is thorough, involves bringing the whole church along and has a high input level.

Medium scope

This option suits a church that is somewhat stuck and wants to get unstuck, wants a medium level of review as the church has a good sense of the issues, but wants help to build a clear path forward.

They are looking for some help clarifying the way forward and bringing people along.

light scope

This option suits a church that wants a low level of review and wants to focus more on the clarity forward. This church has a clear understanding of the issues and what needs to happen to move forward, but likely needs help getting momentum and bringing others along. Often this church will be led by a leader who has a good sense of direction but needs someone to walk alongside them to support.

online only

This option suits a church that is somewhat stuck and wants to get unstuck, a church that wants a low level of review and wants to focus more on the clarity forward. Similar to the light scope, this project happens completely online.

Testimonials

  • "When it came to preparing a vision and plan for our church, the last thing I wanted to do was spend months arguing about the definitions of vision and mission, in order to create a document that had no practical use. As a church we had also recently made some hard changes and were looking for a positive way forward rather than a critical review. So when I came across City to City Australia’ s ReVision Workshop and saw the templated method, limited timeframe and positive practical outcomes, it was really appealing. The sessions were well led and it was good for me to be a participant rather than leading the process. We came up with an inspiring 10 year vision which continues to shape our prayers and common language in our church. Next were our 3 year targets, and as we come now to the end of the three year period, I can see how useful they were and how far we have come. The one-year themes have given us focus, and it has been great to be able to tick off 90-day goals (though we missed some quarters). It' s good to have a vision that lives on our wall rather than on a shelf and we look forward now to developing our next three-year goals.
