Andrew is the CEO of City to City Australia, a church planting and leadership development agency linked to Tim Keller and Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York. This role enables him to work across denominational boundaries to be part of seeing a Gospel movement take hold of cities across Australia, which is a driving passion for Andrew.
Andrew is also the Senior Minister of Christ Church Inner West, a multi-site church in Sydney's Inner West, where he commenced over ten years ago. He has considerable experience in University ministries and has served as Chaplain to Sydney University.
He is married to Catriona and they have three adult and almost adult children. The things that animate Andrew are sharing the Gospel, seeing God’s grace at work in the community of the Church as well as in the wider community through cultural renewal, and when he has time, a decent game of golf.
Director of training
Chris is the Director of Training with City to City Australia. His 8 years spent identifying, raising up and equipping Christian leaders in University Student Ministry helped prepare him for this role. Hopefully the PhD in Christian ethics that he’s working on will too!
Chris lives in Melbourne with his wife Natalie and two small kids, where they are part of St Augustine’s Anglican Church in multicultural Moreland (Brunswick and Coburg).

Roger Bray was born in Sydney, Australia but raised in Sarawak Malaysia. In a previous life he was a Youth Minister and trained people to become Youth Ministers. His theological education has involved studying at Moore College, Sydney Missionary Bible College and Ridley Theological College, Melbourne. He has also ventured into the areas of Christian counselling and not for profit entrepreneurship. Roger is married to Jane who is a social worker and is also involved in establishing Parakeleo in Australia. They have two married children.
As a Senior Minister Roger has been involved in planting, closing, and re-potting congregations. Currently with a great ministry team he oversees four congregations in urban Sydney at Newtown Erskineville Anglican Church. In addition to this ministry he is involved in teaching the Incubator program and is the Coaching Director for City to City Australia. He is passionate about ensuring that church planters and ministers are supported and equipped for long term gospel ministries.
Jody Hyam is new Administrator or City to City Australia. She supports the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including finance, programs, events, and the digital sphere. She provides assistance to the CEO and Board.
Jody worked as an Economist and Senior Financial Analyst at the NSW Treasury before becoming a mum to Isabella, Thomas and Zechariah. Prior to this role, Jody served as a Development and Communications Consultant at MTS. Jody is married to Michael and they are actively involved in their local church, Engadine Anglican.
Administrator (Maternity leave)
Katherine Tao is the Administrator for City to City Australia. She supports the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including programs, events, and the digital sphere, and provides assistance to the CEO and Board.
Prior to this role, Katherine has worked in administration for other not-for-profit organisations, and has a background in Graphic Design. Katherine lives in Sydney with her husband, Tuo.
Justin Moffatt is the Senior Minister of St Philip's Anglican Church in Sydney. He was born in Perth, but raised in Sydney. He studied at Sydney University and at Moore College, and was ordained in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Justin is married to Laurel, and God has given them four fun kids. He's been in ministry at St Ives and more recently in New York City. Then God moved him from one urban centre to another: Manhattan to Sydney where he continues to serve at Church Hill Anglican. Justin is a founding Director of City to City in Australia.
After practising for 17 years as a partner at Kemp Strang, Daren Armstrong joined Banki Haddock Fiora in 2013. Daren is highly regarded for his expertise in complex corporate advisory, restructuring and financing matters. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Simon is a Partner and Managing Director of a global management consultancy firm, where he has been helping clients solve their toughest strategic problems for the last decade. Prior to that, Simon spent 10 years in senior roles in government, including Deputy Director-General in the NSW Government and First Assistant Secretary at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in Canberra. Simon is also a Non-Executive Director of Mission Australia and The Simulation Group. He is married to Naomi, they have two tween-age kids, and worship at St John's Anglican Church in Ashfield in Sydney. He was appointed to the City to City Australia Board in 2016.
CS Tang is Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Community Church, Sydney. He is married to Lyn and father of Bethany and Brendan. He converted from Buddhism at a young age. Since completing ministry training at Moore College and the Presbyterian Theological Centre (now Christ College, Sydney), CS has been in church planting ministry. He is a council member of The Gospel Coalition Australia.
Ian, with his wife Robyn, is a member of Church Hill Anglican in Sydney and is a Director of Midson Group, a Sydney based project management consultancy that specialises in assisting non-for profit organisation in the delivery of capital works projects from inception to commissioning.
He has over 40 years’ international experience as a consultant working in the construction industry including design, project and programme management of building projects as well as the general management of consulting businesses. Ian was educated and commenced work in Sydney and while living in London managed a Consulting Group with offices in 11 countries and approximately 1000 staff. His working life has taken him across the world working on projects and managing business in Europe, the Indian subcontinent, South East Asia and Australasia.
Lara works at the Presbyterian Church of NSW General Office, as Manager of Research and Analytics. Her role involves supporting the church’s research needs, including analysing church data to establish an understanding of healthy church profiles within the denomination. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as a director of a boutique employee research firm, supporting HR departments across both the public and private sectors with employee and stakeholder engagement surveys, 360 degree leadership reviews, and other associated works. She is married to James with two children – Ellie and Robbie – and another baby on the way. Lara is actively involved in her local church, Chatswood Presbyterian.
